What is your artform and/or vision?
My artistic vision is one that takes me to a playful world full of possibilities, which make me cross physical reality, accessing fantastic worlds full of magic and depth. By accessing my joys, my hopes and my fears, I transcend everything in feeling materialized in art. For me, art is the most powerful and rewarding healing and self-knowledge tool there is because it connects us to our purest essence, making us creators of our reality, mages of the earth. I feel that art connects me to my most subtle and elevated being, giving voice to the most sincere sensations of my heart.
I walked through healing processes and more intense looks at my unconscious, seeking knowledge beyond artistic techniques, passing through science and spirituality, in different cultures and visions. Until I arrive in what I can say “the beginning of my liberation and reconnection with my inner child”, where my creations return to have colors and more movement, exploring the playful and creative world, inspiring me in science, nature and the Cosmos; uniting heaven and earth, universe and Gaia, science and spirituality.
Who are your main artistic inspirations/influences?
I am closer to the surrealist movement, as it was more focused on creations that came from the unconscious, with freer works in shapes and colors. Speaking of artists from that time, I really like Salvador Dalí, Dorothea Tanning (North American painter), Remedios Varo (Mexican painter), Joan Miró and Frida Kahlo. I am also very close to the works of Georgia O’Keeffe and Kandinsky. Currently I have been studying sacred geometry, multiple dimensions, which also led me to study more deeply the visionary arts.
What does the phrase “Time is Art” mean to you?
“Time is art for me” is the magnitude of human life beautifully summed up in one sentence. It is through art that we connect with our deepest essence. It is through art that we recognize ourselves as infinite beings, full of creativity, power and magic. Art in all its aspects is a conversation with the divine that dwells in us, where through symbols and shapes and colors we decode the great mysteries of human life; living in the art of time is to live the magic of being what we dream and intuit. It is to have a life with purpose and meaning. It is seeing the beautiful in the smallest detail, as well as looking beyond, connecting with the power of our expanded and creative consciousness.
