What is your artform/vision?
My artform is to return earth’s love to her. She keeps giving and giving, like a caring mother, no matter what humankind does to her. I would like to inspire people to return her loving embrace in small but meaningful ways.
Who are your main artistic inspirations/influences?
Edward Abbey, environmental activist, author and original eco-warrior.
David Brower, visionary father of the modern environmental movement who had the courage to admit he was wrong to allow Glen Canyon to be drowned beneath massive Powell Reservoir in order to save Dinosaur National Monument from the same fate.
Stephanie South, friend of my soul, who convinced me that I had something worth saying.
What does the phrase “Time is Art” mean to you?
Time is Art: Earth, one small spec in the expanse of space, is the ultimate gift of art to Earth-humans. Look simply at the photos of frogs in the Amazon on the EverythingEarth.net website. What further proof could be needed of our planet’s love, playfulness, ingenuity and pure joy in producing earth’s art?
